Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 17, 2026 • Published by Yamlr Inc
1. Our Core Commitment
At Yamlr Inc ("Company," "we," "us"), we believe that developer tools should operate with zero surveillance. Infrastructure configurations contain your most sensitive architectural blueprints, database credentials, internal service names, and routing policies.
Yamlr is built from the ground up as a local-first, privacy-preserving systems binary. We do not harvest, inspect, transmit, or monetize your Kubernetes manifests.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
Your YAML files, Helm templates, Kustomize overlays, and CRDs never leave your local file system or CI runner memory.
Yamlr requires zero cluster credentials, zero kubeconfig access, and zero administrative API tokens.
3. Telemetry & Anonymous Metrics
By default, the open-source CLI executes entirely offline without network requests. In strict enterprise environments, air-gapped license validation operates using cryptographically signed asymmetric keys without connecting to any external license server.
4. Website & Communication Data
When visiting our documentation or landing page at yamlr.dev, standard edge server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) are processed by Cloudflare for DDOS defense and global asset caching.
When you voluntarily contact us via our contact forms or direct email (contact@yamlr.dev or nishar@yamlr.dev), we retain your email and correspondence solely to answer your technical questions or fulfill licensing obligations.
